The successful candidate can expect to work across 2 key client relationships as well as participating in new business pitches and company initiatives. They will be involved in a varied and changing mix of projects, however some examples of what the roll my entail are:
Digesting research reports and deriving the key insights
Participating in client meetings and workshops
Working closely with our data analytics team to generate customer and business insights, taking the lead in communicating these to the client via clear and visually appealing presentations
Working with our InstantView team (online dashboarding) on concepting and client requirements
Collaborating with clients to develop commercial, customer and channel strategies that address key business challenges
Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative data visualisation solutions such as online dashboards
Researching and creating recommendations The role will involve significant client contact. A high level of trust in and our people is the basis for the on-going success and development of our key client relationships and the successful candidate will display high standards of integrity and professionalism.
They will be highly motivated, with the ability and ambition to assume responsibility for managing the relationship with a key client within the next 12-18 months.
The successful candidate will also be detail-oriented with a hunger to understand our clients complex businesses, build relationships and develop expertise in our clients data and programs. They will need to be comfortable manipulating data in Microsoft Excel and presenting data outputs and strategy recommendations to senior level clients; excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills are essential.
Day to day project delivery, usually working with a more senior consultant
Day to day client contact on task areas and projects
Development of insights through desk-based research, data and research interpretation, analysis, and interviews
Insight driven customer and business strategy in projects
Close collaboration with data analytics team to develop bespoke solutions
Day to day management of how analytics are used in project outputs
Campaign and marketing performance evaluation
Preparing presentations based on the outputs of research / analysis, for review
Interacting with the agency account team on integrated projects
Leading project meetings
Report and proposal writing
Participation in agency new business pitches
Benchmarking and cross-industry analysis
Financial and business case modelling
Development and implementation of business strategy and processes
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within commercial and business strategy either from a management consultancy or client-side environment.
They should be a bright, commercially aware individual who works well with teams, is presentable, enjoys problem-solving, and has a strong ability to develop long-lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
